NBA Friday Betting Preview

This Friday night we will be witnessing some captivating action that I’m sure many of you can’t wait to see. Here is our full NBA preview and betting predictions for tonight’s exciting slate of action…

The Cleveland Cavaliers (+308) will host the Utah Jazz (-358) at Quicken Loans Arena. The Jazz are 9 point favorites and the total is currently sitting at O/U 208 points on most books. This should be a fairly easy win for the Jazz as the Cavs are in full-tank mode while the Jazz are still trying to have some relevancy in the Western Conference playoffs race.

Our Pick: Utah Jazz -9

The Dallas Mavericks (+174) will be visiting the Boston Celtics (-197) who have started to play better recently. The Mavericks come in as the underdogs as most would expect. They have an abysmal record when playing away from home. With only 3 wins and 16 losses, they are tied for the worst away record in the league. Boston is currently the 5 point favorite. The total sits at O/U 208 points.

Our Pick: Dallas Mavericks +5

The Miami Heat (-270) are 7 point favorites at home against the Washington Wizards (+230). Heat are playing tremendously as of late, winning 7 games out of the last 10. On the other hand, the Wizards are without John Wall, who is still injured and will be out for the rest of the season. Their awful away record will make things even worse, so many would expect an easy win for the Heat. The total for this game is O/U 214.5 points.

Our Pick: Washington Wizards +7

The Indiana Pacers (-240) will be playing in Chicago on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls (+200), who are sitting at the bottom of the eastern conference along with the Cavs and Knicks. Pacers are 8-2 in their last 10 games and on a 5 game win-streak. Indiana is the 6 point favorite and shouldn’t have many problems with the Bulls, even on the road. The total is sitting at O/U 202 points.

Our Pick: Indiana Pacers -6

The Brooklyn Nets (+185) will matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies (-209) in Memphis and it’s definitely hard to tell who will emerge victorious in this one. Memphis is on a three-game losing streak, while Brooklyn’s 8-10 away record isn’t very reassuring either. The Grizzlies remain a somewhat heavy favorite at home but this is easily a game the Nets could take. The total opened at O/U 207.5 points.

Our Pick: Over 207.5

The Orlando Magic (+199) will be facing the Minnesota Timberwolves (-229) in Minnesota and are expected to win this eastern conference vs western conference matchup. While Orlando is 5-5 in their last 10 games Minnesota also continues to struggle as of late. Minnesota sits as the 6 point favorite at home with the total set at O/U 212.5 points.

Our Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves -6

The Milwaukee Bucks (-1250) are looking to get an easy win against Atlanta Hawks (+910) at home. Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer who spent 5 seasons with the Hawks will be looking to guide his new team to its 5th straight win. The Bucks are 13.5 point favorites. The total opened at a whopping O/U 230.5 points.

Our Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -13.5

The LA Clippers (-170) will be visiting the tanking Phoenix Suns (+151), and are expected to pickup the win in order to get back to their winning ways, after losing two in a row. They are 4 point favorites on Friday night and the total has been set at O/U 231 points.

Our Pick: LA Clippers -4

The Los Angeles Lakers (-335) will be facing the New York Knicks (+289) at Staples Center, and are still trying to find their identity without LeBron James. This can potentially be an easy matchup for them as they are listed as the 8 point favorites. The total for this game is O/U 225.5 points.

Our Pick: Over 225.5

In the last game of the night, what seems will be the most entertaining, we’ll see the Oklahoma City Thunder (-103) taking on the Portland Trailblazers (-109) in Portland. OKC will be trying to continue their winning ways, but will have a tough task this time, as they will have to do so on the road. Portland has a great record at home, having won 14 games out of 20 played at home, they are the 1 point favorites to win this game but most books have set this a straight up ‘pick’em’ matchup. The man that will decide the fate of this game is Paul George. If he continues to play the way he has been playing recently, Lillard and company will face a tough challenge. The total opened at O/U 223 points so expect some scoring in this one.

Our Pick: Portland Trailblazers +1
